The hotel and the street
Period postcard
The brick façade of the Hôtel Baudy seen from the street, with a man and a donkey cart in the foreground. The print carries the credit “Phot. A. L., Vernon”.
On the estate
The road to Vernon
The street running along the façade, by which everyone arrived — on foot, by carriage, then by car.
