Privacy policy

This is a reading site. It has no forms, no user accounts and no comment areas, and collects no personal data about you.

This site sets no cookies of its own and installs no analytics tool. Only the deliberate display of the Google Maps map, described below, can lead to cookies being set by a third party.

Typefaces are loaded from the Google Fonts service, which involves your browser connecting to Google’s servers.

The Giverny and Visit pages and the home page offer a map provided by Google Maps. This map is not loaded automatically: nothing is requested from Google’s servers until you click “Show the map”. If you display it, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address, under the terms of its own privacy policy. The “Open in Google Maps” and “Directions” links open the service in a new tab and load nothing into the page.

European data protection law gives you rights of access, rectification and erasure of data concerning you. As this site holds none, such requests are moot; they may nonetheless be addressed to the publisher, whose details appear in the legal notice.
