This log begins in October 2026. Whatever entered the collection before that date is not listed here: we do not date it from memory.

The house’s booklet
The story told in the hotel’s historical booklet enters the site: Metcalf’s return, life in the dining room, the kitchen garden, the use of the studio and the garden’s history, from vines to roses.
-
Theodore Robinson — The bar of the Hôtel Baudy
The canvas’s provenance is established: Baudy-Suze collection, then to the present owner through successive transfers. It also joins the works on Robinson’s page.
-
William Howard Hart gains his portrait
The portrait painted by Theodore Earl Butler becomes the portrait on his page. Hart had painted Butler in 1897: the two canvases answer each other.
-
Sears Gallagher — three etchings
His page held no works. Three etchings from the Metropolitan Museum join it, documented without being shown: the museum releases no image of them.
-
Lucien Abrams — an accession number and a work
“The Orchard” receives its accession number, and “Chrysanthemums and Mulberry Platter” joins his page. Both come from the labels of a Florence Griswold Museum exhibition, as the notice states.
-
Robert Vonnoh — “Poppies” located, with a reservation
A canvas of this title is held by the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Its record gives neither date nor accession number, and Vonnoh returned to the motif more than once: the notice says the identification remains to be confirmed.

The register says where it comes from
The register page now states that the volume was filmed in 1989, that any reproduction requires the permission of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and that the same museum holds a collection on Cézanne’s stay.
