Invoice to the Giverny town hall, receipted in 1893
Invoice on engraved letterhead: “HÔTEL & CAFÉ — Maison BAUDY à Giverny, Eure”, flanked by “ÉPICERIE ET MERCERIE” and “BONNETERIE ET CHAUSSURES”. It is addressed to the Giverny town hall and itemises supplies delivered between 1890 and 1892 — paper, string, soap — for a total of 18 francs 15. The words “Pour acquit, le 15 février 1893” are followed by the Baudy signature.
