The studio, seen from the park

Period postcard titled “Giverny. Hôtel Baudy — Un Coin du Parc”. The wooden pavilion with its open canopy is the free-standing studio built in 1887: painters working out of doors withdrew into it to finish their canvases. A log staircase climbs the slope behind it.
