Commercial envelope, 1869

A cover headed “MERCERIE EN GROS — MACHINES À COUDRE — BAUDY, GIVERNY (EURE)”, addressed to a correspondent in the Orne. The stamp is a twenty-centime Second Empire issue, cancelled at Vernon. It is one of the earliest dated items in the collection.
